Ed Boos has been president and CEO of First Bank & Trust Company since November 1987. Ed was born and raised on a farm in Northeast Kansas. He attained a Bachelors Degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Ed has 35 years of banking experience in Midwestern community banks. He is a past president and current board member of the Cozad Development Corporation, a past board member of the Nebraska Bankers Association, a past president of the Cozad Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Cozad City Schools Board of Education. Ed and his wife Barbara have three grown children. His hobbies include fishing, hunting and golfing.

Community Involvement
First Bank and Trust was chartered in Cozad in 1883 and has been committed to the area since then. We have been active donors to numerous civic organizations and various fund drives. In addition, our employees are very active in local groups. They are encouraged to give their time and talent in order to give back to the community which has been very supportive to us.
